The Ancient Art Of Ninjing.
Ninjing is the ancient art of getting fuelled with beer, dressing up like a ninja and then partaking in all sorts of ninja activities. Ninjing is best undertaken at night and in a public park or walkthrough, although plenty of fun can be had with the peasants around town. A particular favourite is seeing how close to passers by you can get without being noticed, which when rather drunk can be challenging.
The photos from this particular episode were taken in Launceston, Cornwall (near England) way back in 2002. Possibly earlier. The 3 ninjas picked for this mission were me, Foss and Chris. Just to avoid confusion - the ninja with his rusty sherriff's badge winking is Chris.
This is me. Ready for ninjing.

The true ninja is not afraid of bonding with other ninjas. Only in teamwork can their true potential be achieved.

If you look carefully, you should just be able to see 2 ninjas. Masters of stealth and cunning, the ninja is most at home in the shadows. See the awesome power as the ninjas summon the moon to do their bidding, blinding all enemies with brilliant moonlight.

Again the ninjas hiding amoungst the shadows. So horrendously powerful are these ninjas that the ground here shakes, as the zombies cower and tremor in their graves.

Witness the boldness of these ninjas, for their skills are so great, that they even blend in amoungst the cold tough streets of Launceston. They go unchallenged, unseen and unheard. They are the shadow-walkers.

Again the ninjas summon the power of the moon. A different summoning this time, as the ninja utilises the power of stench.

And thus the end is here. The ninjas put away their masks and return to their normal identities, never revealing their awesome powers during their normal day to day lives.
Woooyaargh!

How aprapo that you follow up your aidsfest post with a picture of exposed male buttocks. Good thing Chuck Fartin' Norris does not read your blog, or you would soon be the recipient of a hetero round house kick to arse.

Ha, I checked RyanRocks a few nights ago, and clearly although Ryan does Rock, this site sucks ass.
Hopefully you can handle constructive criticism. - Ryaninja said...

You are correct, the site does indeed suck. However I wrote a lot of it with notepad, back when the internet was young, and with very little knowledge of html!
Plus, I'm no web developer! :)

Babies!

This is Steven John. He was born at 3:45am. He weighs aprroximately 4lbs 6oz, and is the eldest of the two. Notice his squished head, from being pushed out first. Babies have malleable heads.
This interests me. I wonder if you could do temporary compemporary modern art with babies heads? At least until they harden up...

Baby watching you.

This is Joshua Ryan. He was born at 4am, and weighs approximately 4lbs 6oz. As he was second out, his head is of a normal shape. And yes he is named after me. This makes me feel kinda nice, which suprises me.

As both babies were nearly 4 weeks premature, they need them some funky incubators.

This thing is cool. You can watch TV, make phone calls and surf the intarweb. It's quite expensive though, and will cost about £5 if you want to watch TV all day. This kinda reminds me of Max from Flight Of The Navigator. Compliance!
The twins were due on Christmas day, so they're gonna have to spend a couple more weeks in the hospital yet.
Congrats, Carla, but don't expect me to babysit the buggers!
And I'm an uncle. Scary. Muahuahauhauhaaaa!

The xbox 360 is released tomorrow. Your nephews have these crazy TVs. You know what you must do.

Hey man congratulations!
I wanted twins but my wife only made one godammit. He's gorgeous though so that's cool.
Baby-tastic! - Ryaninja said...

You wanted twins? You loon!
You should've given your wife loads of illegal drugs - that'll do it, apparently...
And yes Foss, I do know what to do. I've bought an xbox 360, so I'll let you know....

Peanut Ant.

Snow. See? Not especially interesting for you I know, but I was pleased with the way my phone managed to capture it nicely.

Someone I work with made a peanut ant. I call him Ralph.

Peanut Ant and gummi bear rider. Kinda reminds me of the lone ranger. Wish I'd made the gummi bear a mask now. Ah well.
Here's a picture of a badger. I made this.

And I found this on the net. Interesting....

Oh, and finally, I played an Xbox 360 last weekend. It was pretty nice. I played call of duty 2, and I can't really decide whether it looks better on my pc, or the Xbox 360. Not because it's so close in comparison, but because I'm a retard, and I genuinely can't remember. I should play it for a while on my PC and then go see the one in Dixons. I don't suppose they'll let me set up my PC next to the 360.

Yeah the snow today was awesome. We have people still stuck in traffic on Bodmin moor. That's 12 hours now. Mental! I feel bad for those poor bastards :(
Also, a bunch of people had to stay in hotels and stuff in town, but work is paying for it.
I left my car at work because to the snow, and walked home. Should be better tomorrow though.
Anyway. Mad snow today. Mad. - Jeffer McJeff of the clan McJeff said...

It was about 50 degrees on the American Temperature Rating Scale here today, which I think is equal to 8 stone and 5 quid to ya'll. I was wearing shorts and a sweatshirt while putting up Christmas lights. Please box and up some and mail it to me to arrive in time for Christmas. Thanks, I love you guys so much.

Jeff, the only snow I could find left today was a little bit of grey slush with a small dog turd in it.
Will this be ok?
Regards, Ryan. - Jeffer McJeff of the clan McJeff said...

yes, actually if you can find a larger bit of dog turd with a speck of snow attached, that would be smashing.

DJ Format, D-Sisive, Abdominal & Jurassic 5!
It's running a little late I know, but here it is. I promised I would add some videos of the Jurassic 5 Concert at some point, and I might well do it in this post. At least that's the intention anyway; hence the title of this post. I feel I should warn you though, this could be a long post as I've a lot to show you, so I might get fed up with posting before I get round to that!
About a week and a half ago, 2 days after I had seen Jurassic 5 in London, I had the pleasure of seeing DJ Format, Abdominal and D-Sisive at Jelly Jazz@The Quay Club here in Plymouth.

DJ Format.
"Ten years later, still a hip-hop slave. A prehistoric b-boy makin’ beats in my cave"
Format reinvents the old school with samples and beats from more sources than you can shake a b-boy at. He appears with Abdominal and D-Sisive a lot - both feature heavily in his new album - If You Can't Join Em.... Beat Em

MC Abdominal.
"Girls are hostile, cos my eyes are smaller than my nostrils..."
Incredible dexterity in his lyrics, he raps quick and clean. His lyrics are interesting and funny. A fine example is 'Ugly Brothers' on DJ Format's new album.

MC D-Sisive.
Smooth Flowing Rhymes. Apparently has been compared to Eminem, and although I can see (or should I say hear!) it, if he is mimicking Emimem, he's doing it better...!
So now you've met the Trio, I'll show you the photos (and maybe videos!) of them teaming up and perfoming!
Although that said, I'll include photos of the entire night. Some of these photos were taken by me, most were taken by my mate Si. You'll recognise him from the photos, he's the crazy guy who looks like (in my opinion) a Pirate. It's the beard. It always is. Yarrrr!!!

Yarr! Nuff said. :)

Si's sister (right) and friend.

What am I doing?

Boobs. That's my hand there. Nice.

...and it begins...

D-Sisive on the left, Abdominal on the right. Along with DJ Format (on the decks behind D-Sisive) an explosive combination.

As you can see, it was a bit hot in here, due the the Quay Club's atrocious air conditioning. Sometimes I cannot stay in Jelly Jazz for longer than an hour due to the heat. This night, I wore shorts!

DJ Format, working his magic beats.

Abdominal, rapping that yes, he could fit a whole baby in his mouth, see?

Not the best shot of Abdominal, but I wanted to put it online anyway. If he sees this - Sorry Man!

This'll be the famous 'human pickaxe' that abdominal mentions in the song Ugly Brothers, the noses of Abdominal and Format, back to back. Pity about that retard with her hands in the air.

"Brains. Braaaiiinnnsss!"

I'm not gonna bother commenting on all of these pics, I'll just leave you to appreciate them. Besides that, it was a rockin hip hop bonanza, what more do you want me to say?!?

It was REALLY hot. :)

Nice one Si. He at least had the clarity to get a photo taken. I was pretty drunk by the end of the evening, and quite knackered from dancing like a crazy man. I talked to all three after their set at one point or another, but I think mostly I talked shite. Mind you, I did buy 3 CDs off them, which would explain where that extra £15 had gone. Still, I've listened to them now, and I have to say, they were a bargain!
Right, well, what with procrastination/distraction/creation, editing and finally formation/of this blog, it guess I'll tell you how it really was, In the Quay Club the crowd was jumpin like a hopper bug/abdominal/ phenominal, an animal, his lyrics all around/spinnin up and then come crashin down/D-Sisive, devisive/consisive/delightive, the brain's like a sieve, too much beer swilling round in here, bouncing around with no idea, you-never-even-ever-try-conside- to-regulate, you-never-even-know-till-it-hits-and-then-it's-way-too-late, all of the lyrics have passed right through, your memory's gone it's all down to you, and beer.
- a small crappy rap about my views on the evening. Actually, it wasn't that bad. I do have a reasonable memory of the night, but not quite as good as I would liked to have had!
Right, that's it for now. It's taken me ages to get this done, so I'll post the Jurassic 5 clips and the Format ones together during the week.
Full sized versions of these photos can be found here.
Peace out. Thanks to Si for a copy of his photos, thanks to the Quay Club (well Pete Isaac really) for getting good people in, and most of all, thank you DJ Format, Abdominal and D-Sisive, for a wicked night!
