Gone to Canada. Won't be long...

Well, I've just said goodbye to another mate. Jamie has left for Canada. He's not leaving the Country until Tuesday, but he's spending the next couple of days in London before he goes.

I get the feeling I need some more friends, as this is another of my good friends who have moved away in a matter of months, and I'm starting to find myself distinctly lacking in people I enjoy spending time with.

I need to (a) get out of this country, and (b) get some more friends.

Any suggestions?

I need friends. I just moved back to Oz after 4 years on & off in London. Most of my old friends are either lame or married - some have accquired both new fabulous skills. We have lots of sun here. Its autumn & I can still get sunburnt. I don't think I'm as photogenic as Jamie, but prob just as mad.

Hi Sarah! Unfortunately, I know exactly how you feel. Lame Friends, Married Friends or Pemmiless Friends. It's just not fair.

I'll be your friend if you want, and being un-photogenic and mad are not skills that would put you at a disadvantage here - I'm afflicted by both too!

It would be a lot better here in England if we got weather like in Oz. I love the sunshine!

Canada is full of Moose and Beaver. There are bears too. Bears eat garbage, so bears are good. Bears that sneak into your bedroom, then hide in your bed and bite you arm off are not friendly bears. Beware the arm eating bears!

Plymouth is also full of Moose. But its the type of Moose that walks and talks and tries to look nice. It fails. It is also full of beaver, but the sort that you wouldnt want to go near, or it will give you a rash!

Personally, I think I'd rather try my luck with the Bears!

Come to Texas, we love the British and with your multi purpose hair style, you are sure to be a hit with the ladeeeeees. Texans have boring hair. We do not have Moose, either type, that I am aware of. WE do have beaver, both types. Call me when you get hear and I will show you around. Foss knows my number.

Jeff, I *knew* your number. Since then I have reformatted my PC. You know how there's always something you forget to back up? Well, this time it was my contacts list.

Ryan, like you I love the sunshine. The problem is I hate it when it's hot. I'd like to go somewhere sunny but cold, as the cold weather suits me just fine.

I'm guessing my best option is outer space.

I tell you what Foss, I'll build myself a swimming pool, fill it with liquid nitrogen (the shops were all out of absolute zero) and then let you dive it. It will both be cold, and burny; just the thing methinks...
